The First SEAFOODplus Conference

Copenhagen, 04-10-2004 to 06-10-2004

SEAFOODplus Market Place 5 October 2004

One of the challenges of the Integrated Project SEAFOODplus is to facilitate the dialogue between the more than 150 research groups in SEAFOODplus. If this dialogue is going to be successful it is necessary that the researchers know each other and get to know what is ongoing in other research areas than their own. A ‘Market Place’ was introduced for the purpose. Here, each of the 20 projects prepared a stand where the researchers arranged for activities to present their work in a creative, untraditional and fun way. Some of the flavour of the event is presented with the pictures shown. The projects were grouped under the different RTD Pillars in SEAFOODplus.

The Market Place was opened by SEAFOODplus Coordinator Torger Børresen, announcing the activities taking place. Click here to view a short video of the opening ( Windows Media Player Required)
