Rian Schelvis-Smit, IMARES, is the contact person in the Netherlands.
She is a key person in the SEAFOODplus project 2.2 SEAFOODSENSE. She holds a M.Sc. in Post harvest fish technology, and is experienced with sensory assessments, especially QIM and descriptive methods. She is national project leader in the EU-funded CRAFT project "Development and implementation of a computerised sensory (QIM) system for evaluating fish freshness". She is also responsible national and international trainer for QIM inspectors for auctions.
