The partners cover a wide range of expertise in fish biology and rearing of species such as cod, carp, seabass and turbot, including both questions regarding husbandry and rearing systems (block 1-5) and pre-slaughter conditions (block 6-8).
The objective of the project is:
- To examine how husbandry practice, aquacultural systems and pre-slaughter conditions contribute to the flesh quality and ethical quality of finfish seafood.
