Charlotte Jacobsen from Danish Institute for Fisheries Research receives Danisco Award 2003

Charlotte Jacobsen (DIFRES) has received the Danisco Award 2003 for her research work on the oxidation processes in fish oil and her work with enabling the use of fish in food without the products becoming rancid. The award of 250.000 DKK was presented 29th October 2003 by the Danish Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries. Charlotte Jacobsen is project leader of the project "Preventing seafood lipid oxidation and texture softening to maintain healthy components and quality of seafood" within SEAFOODplus.
