Venue
The Second Open SEAFOODplus Conference will be held 5 October 2005 in Granville, France, in the modern Conference Center  'Archipel'

 

Programme
The programme will be industry oriented revealing the latest innovative SEAFOODplus research results of highest relevance to the industry. 

 

Brokerage events and training workshop
A special programme of brokerage events and training workshops targeted towards industry will be arranged jointly.

 

Meetings 3-4 October
The SEAFOODplus partners will meet on 3-4 October for project and Pillar meetings. The Annual meeting of the General Assembly and the meeting of the External Advisory Board will be held on 4 October 2005.

Granville
 Granville is a lovely, charming, picturesque, old fishing town on the Normandy coast, positioned on a rock with a view to Mont Saint-Michel. It is the biggest shell-fish port in Europe, the biggest fish port on the Normandy coast, with 10 meters it has the highest tide in Europe and is famous for its scallops and welchs. It is also a fashionable seaside resort and popular holiday destination all year round, especially for the Parisians.

 

 

Access
There are express trains direct from Paris Central station to Granville 5 times per day.   There are flights to Rennes, which is app. 100 km from Granville. A shuttle bus service will be arranged between Rennes and Granville.
