Up to 30 partners of the SEAFOODplus consortium were together during a two days meeting in Brussels 6 and 7nd of February. The 5 RTD pillar coordinators presented the outcome of all project ideas generated within the whole chain concept of SEAFOODplus. In the discussion thereafter the links between projects within each RTD pillar and between the RTD pillars were discussed with great enthusiasm. On the second day of the plenary meeting the main objectives of the 5 RTD pillars were established. Also two horizontal activities (Traceability and SME oriented activities) were discussed. In the coming 3 weeks the various project teams will work out the work plans and work packages.
