The Third SEAFOODplus Conference

Tromsø, 29-05-06 to 02-06-06

Reception

At 19:00 Monday 29 May 2006 a welcome reception took place at the  Polaria Museum in Tromsø. A variety of seafood delicacies were kindly offered by Rya Produkter. Most participants had arrived during the day and the remaining came to the reception as they arrived during the evening. Registration was also open during the reception and the participants used the opportunity to look at the museum showing life in the Arctic region. A very specially animated movie about the wildlife in Svalbard was shown to the participants. It had been recorded using a special multicamera technique and was projected on six screens in the auditorium.

The partners of SEAFOODplus used the welcome reception to say hello to fellow project workers all over Europe, and participants new to SEAFOODplus were introduced to the crowd.
